Nea is a KPJAYI level II authorised teacher of Ashtanga Yoga. She has been practising Ashtanga Yoga daily for 12 years and teaching for the past nine years. 

She has made eleven individual trips over the last ten years to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Mysore. She was authorised in 2010 and during that year was one of the first people to assist Sharath Jois, director of KPJAYI. In 2014 she was invited to participate in a special training course with Sharath for senior students of KPJAYI.
